We know you're out there, with recording devices large and small, capturing city sounds, country sounds, bird calls, cat calls, and conversations. Whatever you're recording, join us!

We're a found sound collective. Our goal? Simply sharing the sounds of life with each other and others. If you'd like to be a part of that, then send us your earshots.

what to send:

Send 1 - 5 minute recordings captured from any environment (non-explicit, please). Please keep any manipulation to minor editing or touch-up. We're more interested in truth than artistry.

Files can be sent in WMA or MP3 formats. Nothing larger than 7mB.

how to send:

Email your earshots to listen [at] earshots [dotorg] along with the backstory - location, time, what was going on, that sort of thing. Include your name and website, so that you can be properly credited for your work.
